Calvin and Hobbes Comic Strip Press Kit (Various Publishers, 1985/86). A very scarce promotional kit from the initial solicitation of Calvin and Hobbes sent to prospective newspapers. Includes a silverprint photograph, one-page bio of cartoonist Bill Watterson, an article written by Waterson detailing the road to C & H, two pages of sample ads, an announcement article for Waterson and other artists, and proof sheets which print 66 dailies which span from March 17th, to May 26th, 1986. Full-color wraparound cover illustration by Watterson. The folder Measures 9" x 12" and has toning on the folder tab, creasing, small tears, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
