Description
Porky Pig & Cicero Pig Coloring Book Illustrations (Warner Brothers, c. 1950s). A pair of preliminary illustration sketches of Porky Pig and his nephew Cicero playing horseshoes created for a Looney Tunes coloring book by legendary Warner Brothers animation director. -- Robert McKimson Sr. (1910 - 1977). The first image shows Porky taking aim and the second sows that Cicero got a ringer. Both are graphite on an 11.75" x 9" sheet of tracing paper, with an image area measuring approximately 9" x 7". Both exhibit basic handling and aging; overall condition is Fine. A signed letter of authenticity from the artist's son -- Robert McKimson Jr. detailing its provenance is included with both.
