Warren Tufts Casey Ruggles Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 2 dated 12-13-50 and 12-15-50 (Universal Feature Syndicate, 1950). A showcase for a heroic Native American character. While Casey Ruggles is held captive by the bad guys, resourceful Kit Fox figures out a strategy. This grouping skips a day between episodes, but the crisp storytelling and expressive art create a stream of continuity. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15".
