Bruce Patterson - First Comics House Subscription Ad Illustration Michael Mauser Original Art (First, 1982). Remember when First Comics was only publishing two titles and was about to come out with their third? This ad celebrates the coming of the first issue of Jon Sable, Freelance. That great Grell cover is a stat on this page, but the Michael Mauser art is original. It is signed "BeeDeeP", which we think means Bruce D. Patterson. This ad likely ran in late 1982 to early 1983.
