Description

Jack Farr War Victory Adventures #2 Complete 6-page Uncle Cal Story Original Art (Harvey, 1943). That rootin'-tootin', old-timer cowhand, Uncle Cal, seemed out of place in the Merchant Marines, but he handled the ship's big guns as easily as his own six-shooters, blowing a few Nazi U-boats out of the water. This snappy, fast-paced yarn has a stylish art deco cartooning style. The image area of each page measures 13" x 18". The story title has slipped off the first page, leaving a glue residue stain; otherwise the art, drawn in ink on Bristol, is in Very Good condition.
