Allen St. John. Publisher's blue cloth, spine and front lettered in red; all text block edges trimmed, top edge stained red; original illustrated dust jacket. Backstrip dulled; spine ends rolled and worn; further wear along joints and board edges; boards lightly rubbed; boards beginning to peek through cloth at corners. Text block moderately browned from age; several shallow abrasions visible at top edge. Jacket a bit rubbed, with wear along edges, most pronounced with a bit of nicking at spine and flap fold ends; short tear at head of front panel; soft creasing at folds; spot of soiling toward head of front panel fold; handful of specks of foxing at verso.
