Description
The Land Before Time Color Model Production Cel with Color Model Animation Drawing Group of 4 (Don Bluth, 1988). "Once upon this same earth, beneath this same sun, long before you, before the ape and the elephant, as well; before the wolf, the bison, the whale, before the mammoth and the mastodon, in the time of the dinosaurs..." From Don Bluth's third feature film The Land Before Time, here is a jaw-dropping collection of four hand-painted orginal color model cels with their accompanying color model animation drawings. This amazing set will appeal not only to animation fans but also to dinosaur buffs as it features majestic, migrating herds of Apatosaurus and Triceratops. All pieces in this group are rendered on 16 field cels and animation paper with the exception of two color model drawings that measure 10" x 14". The drawings are in color pencil, and as a behind-the-scenes bonus they contain extensive color and production notes. The cels are taped to printed backgrounds for presentation purposes, and all pieces show minor handling and edge wear. There are pinholes in the upper left corner of most of the pieces, and there is also occasional folding and tearing in some corners. The condition overall is Very Good.Auction Info
