Description
The Simpsons "Deep Space Homer" Homer Simpson Production Cel (Fox, 1994). Homer wrestles with second thoughts on his trip to outer space and calls Marge for a pep talk in this original production cel from the fifth season of history's longest running tv sitcom. Episode 5 of that season formed the unlikely team of Homer and astronaut Buzz Aldrin. It featured the classic line by newsman Kent Brockman, "I for one welcome our new insect overlords" referring to ants which have been released into the space station by Homer. The hand-painted image measures 7" x 8" on a 12 field cel that bears a 20th Century Fox gold seal. The cel is over a matching print background and the setup comes complete with a studio-issued certificate of Authenticity. Minor handling and condition is Very Good.Auction Info
