Description

DuckTales Beagle Boys Production Cel with Master Background (Walt Disney, 1987). "Well, they'll never think to look for us here." Clumsily or not, the notorious Beagle Boys are busting out! With a shovel baked into a cake by their mother (unconvincingly hidden but still managing to fool the security guard), the criminals dig their way to freedom, but not without first ending up right back where they started. This is a fantastic and characteristically perfect hand-painted original production cel from the classic Disney animated series DuckTales, depicting the moment the boys first observe their new surroundings. It is displayed over a gorgeous hand-painted Master Background from the very next shot in which the jail cell is fully revealed, rendered in gouache. This moment can be seen at the 4:22 mark of season one episode 12, "The Money Vanishes," and the background is seen at 4:24. The piece overall shows little handling wear, and it is framed under Plexiglas with a mat window size of 9.5" x 7.75" and an overall frame size of 16" x 14". The condition is Very Good, and the frame is sold as-is.
