Disneyland "Pirates of the Caribbean" Postcards Signed by Marc Davis Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1986). Disney Legend Marc Davis (1913 - 2000), one of "Walt's Nine Old Men," was a huge part of the studio's success. According to Walt himself, "Marc can do story, he can do character, he can animate, he can design shows for me. All I have to do is tell him what I want and it's there! He's my Renaissance man." Marc's skill as an artist is on display with this group of two souvenir postcards from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disneyland's New Orleans Square. On each postcard is a Marc Davis drawing of a pirate (including Blackbeard), with a witty saying in verse. The 5.5" x 3.5" cards are hand-signed by Marc Davis along the bottom edge, and are in Very Good to Fine condition.Auction Info
