Description
The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure Superman, Aquaman, Flash, Hawkman, and Green Lantern Production Title Cel Setup (Filmation, 1967). The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure premiered on CBS and included The Justice League of America and Teen Titans episodes. This series marked the animation debut of nearly all of its featured characters and teams. The exceptions were Superman and his supporting cast, who had been previously immortalized in the iconic 1940s Fleischer Superman shorts and Superboy seen in the previous season of The Adventures of Superboy. Offered here is a hand-inked, hand-painted 5-cel setup from the title sequence of this show appearing around the 0:11 mark. These incredible full-figure hand-inked hand-painted images stand approximately 5.5" tall on individual 12 field cels. Each is marked SM & AM Title along the bottom border. It's a remarkable collection of the entire cast of this early superhero series scripted by the original DC comics writers. Minor handling and condition is Very Good.Auction Info
