Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Poster Design Illustration by Michael Hobson (Walt Disney/Touchstone, 1993). It's possible you aren't familiar with his name, but you've seen many examples of Michael Hobson's artwork. He designed posters and specialty art for a number of Disney films, including The Lion King, Pocahontas, Aladdin, Lilo and Stitch, and Tarzan. Here's his ink on paper study for an early proposed one sheet "teaser" pre-release poster design, featuring characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas -- WOW! The art is hand-signed in the lower right, and has an overall image size of 8" x 12"; the paper is mounted to a backing board with a clear protective overlay, measuring 11" x 17". A signed Letter of Authenticity from the artist is included. Fine condition with very minor handling wear.Auction Info
