Since 1955, the Disneyland Railroad has been an integral part of Disneyland, continuing to keep Walt Disney's love of trains alive in the park decades after the railroad was first established. This wonderful piece of ephemera reveals the inner workings of the Disneyland Railroad's operation. This is an original Standard Operating Procedures manual from 1992 for the Disneyland Railroad. This extensive document provides information about dozens of aspects of the Railroad's day-to-day functioning. The sections of the manual are the following: Opening Procedures, Conductor Responsibilities, Special Procedures, Addition of a Train, Removal of a Train, Attraction Breakdown, Evacuation/Emergency Procedures, Fire/Safety Procedures, Guest Accommodations, Closing Procedures, and Working Lead Responsibilities. The manual also contains many interesting diagrams covering a variety of aspects of the railroad's layout and operation. This fantastic piece is in Good to Very Good condition, with some handling and wear. There is some toning on the piece, and the lower right corner of the manual's plastic cover has cracked off.From the Rummell Collection.
