Description
Mrs. Doubtfire Pudgy the Parakeet and Grunge the Cat Production Cel (20th Century Fox, 1993). One of Robin Williams' most successful films was Mrs. Doubtfire which begins with Williams's character, Daniel Hillard, as a voiceover actor for the animated characters Pudgy the Parakeet and Grunge the Cat. The animation was directed by Chuck Jones, and industry heavyweights Bill Littlejohn, Tom Ray, and Eric Goldberg did the animation. Only one minute of the animation was shown in the film, but the entire 5 minute cartoon was released as a bonus on the DVD. This is an outstanding hand-painted production cel of both Pudgy (1" tall) and Grunge (4"). It can be seen about 3:28 into the short. The cel is on a printed background for presentation purposes. A Linda Jones seal is on the cel, and Letter of Authenticity is on the back of the frame. The cel is signed by Chuck Jones. Wonderful color palate on this piece. In Fine condition.Auction Info
