Description

Wonderful World of Color Donald Duck Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1962). An original hand-inked, hand-painted trimmed production cel of Donald Duck hung up on a clothes line. This is interstitial animation done for a Disney TV show, possibly from the "Man is His Own Worst Enemy" episode that ran on 1/21/62. It was hosted by Ludwig Von Drake and showcased the short How to Have an Accident at Home. In that short, Donald is wearing the same robe as he is here. Great airbrushed effects of Donald bouncing on the clothes line, with a nice full-figure 5" image. This cel is from the personal collection of Disney Legend Inductee Mr. Ub Iwerks. A signed Letter of Authenticity from his son David is included in the lot. Fine condition.
