Description
Resident Evil 4 "Biohazard 4" Unreleased Controller Design Model - PS2 Nuby Tech (c. 2004). This is a design model for the unreleased Japanese version of the infamous chainsaw controller. Nubytech ran into licensing issues with both Capcom and Sony in Japan, and the project ultimately fell through. Most of the 25,000 limited release retail units were destroyed, and the black Biohazard 4 controller for the PlayStation 2 was never released in Japan. Very few retail units and prototypes are thought to have survived. Our favorite design element that this prototype has that wasn't included in the US version is the start "button" is a starter cord! How cool is that?! Note: this prototype was used internally for design purposes and does not function as an actual controller.Auction Info
