Description
David Marquez Batman: Killing Time Hardcover Collected Edition Variant Cover Original Art (DC, 2022). The glass face of an ornate timepiece shatters, forming fractals that reflect images of Catwoman, Killer Croc, Riddler, Penguin, and the Help falling artfully around Batman, resulting in a cover that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the series it was created to represent and highlights the story's featured characters. Created as a Direct Market exclusive variant cover for the hardcover release collecting all six issues of the miniseries written by Tom King, this piece was rendered in ink and marker over printed lines on 11" x 17" Bristol board. Note: While this is the final published artwork, only the inks are original art. This is ink over printed lines, not ink over graphite. Presents with light smudging, whiteout touch-ups, and some corner creasing. Signed inside the lower right image area. In Excellent condition.More information about David Marquez.
