Batman #49 (DC, 1948) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. This issue featured the first appearances of Vicki Vale and the Mad Hatter. The Joker cover, by Bob Kane, foreshadowed the "Batman's Arabian Nights" story inside. Kane, Jim Mooney, and Charles Paris art. Deep, rich cover inks on this copy. Overstreet 2021 VF 8.0 value = $2,800. CGC census 1/22: 14 in 7.5, 29 higher.
