Description
Alex Niño Planet Komiks "La Bamba" Illustration Original Art (PSG, 1972). In an evocative scene from the Filipino-based Planet Komiks for the serialized comic novel "La Bamba," a man is depicted in torment on a rack, stretched by a woman gleefully twisting the gears, while his distinguished portrait looms ominously in the background. Crafted in ink over graphite on an artboard adhered to an illustration board with an image area of 11" x 13.5". Signed by Alex Nino in the image area. Light toning. There is a 1/8" and 1/2" tear on the top edge, a 2.5" tear on the lower left of the image, light creasing, and whiteout text corrections on the logo. In Very Good condition.From the Roger Hill Collection.
