Description
Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2th Century Daffy Duck Production Cel Set-Up (Warner Brothers, 1953). A spoof of Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon, Chuck Jones brought one Duck Edgar Dumas Aloysius Eoghain Dodgers, intergalactic space hero, to the screen in a short that would also feature the third appearance of Marvin the Martian. Duck Dodgers would become Daffy's greatest role, one that would later be named #4 in the book The 50 Greatest Cartoons by Jerry Beck. This is a very rare hand-inked and hand-painted production cel of Daffy as Dodgers from that classic short, with a 4.5" full figure of the spacey duck, placed over a print background. Matted and framed to 17" x 13.75", with an image area of 11.5" x 8.5". A great piece of Looney Tunes history, in Fine condition.Auction Info
