Greg LaRocque and Mike Esposito Marvel Team-Up #144 Symbiote Suit Spider-Man Story Page 8 Original Art (Marvel, 1984). The Symbiote Suit may have corrupted Peter Parker's personality and brought out all of his darkest impulses -- but boy, did it make quick changes faster! Spider-Man features on this page, which includes a stunning three-panel costume transformation scene that shows the symbiote (later revealed to be the alien entity known as Venom) as it spreads over Peter's entire person, adorning him in his black costume and preparing the hero to knock out some of the White Dragon's henchmen in the final panel!This marks only the fifth appearance of the iconic Symbiote Suit, and this issue is dated just three months after the costume first appeared in ASM #252 and five months before readers were told where it came from in Secret Wars #8. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Toned, with an irregularly trimmed top edge, two clipped corners, whiteout corrections, a stat text correction paste-up in the first panel, production notes/marks, and some handling wear. In Very Good condition.
