Description
Bill Ward - Single Panel Gag Cartoon Illustration Original Art (Humorama, c. 1964). "I don't want an immediate answer... the park doesn't close for another hour." Ward's captivating women claim another victim in this gag by the Humorama artist, famously known for his curvy depictions of beautiful woman for numerous "girlie" magazines. Rendered in ink, Conte crayon, and white paint over graphite on paper affixed to Bristol board, with an image size of 13" x 18". Toned, tape residue around the margins and image edges, minor corner creases, with light smudging and handling wear. Joke text in blue ink in the bottom margin, and signed and dated by Ward on the back. In Very Good condition.More information about Bill Ward.
