Mike Grell Starslayer: Director's Cut #3 Cover Original Art (Acclaim/Windjammer, 1995). Warrior Torin slashes his way from the open seas to a futuristic cityscape in this defining image from the restoration and expansion of a classic 1980s series. The Director's Cut version combines new work (such as this image) with reprinted and embellished material from the original Pacific Comics and First Comics editions. The tale concerns an ancient warrior who finds himself spirited away into the far future. Signed in the lower margin. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 10.25" x 15.5".
