Description

Andy Kubert and Matt Ryan X-Men #25 Story Page 15 Original Art (Marvel, 1993). After Magneto carries out a devastating attack on humanity, Professor Xavier plans for a brutal retaliatory strike that leaves three of the original X-Men (Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Beast) debating the merits of such a drastic move. This page, from the landmark "Fatal Attractions" crossover that had profound implications for the X-Men and their universe, features Ryan-supplied inks over Kubert pencils on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Text paste-ups and an attached acetate overlay bearing the names "Xavier, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, Quicksilver" has been used to populate data on an illustrated computer screen. Paste-ups have various degrees of discoloration, and the piece has minor overall toning and editors' notes in the margins. Signed by Kubert and in Very Good condition.
