Description

Don Donald Donald Duck and Donna Duck Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1937). "Hello big boy!" says Donna Duck to a sombrero-wearing Donald Duck. This was Donald Duck's first starring role. The short was directed by Ben Sharpsteen, and Clarence Nash provided the voices for both Donald and Donna Duck. Important cartoon in terms of Donald Duck history. This is a great hand-inked, hand-painted Courvoisier production cel of Donald and Donna Duck in the Mexican Hat Dance, with Donald playing his guitar and Donna dancing around his sombrero. This scene happens around the 1:27 mark into the short. The cel is on a Courvoisier hand-painted background. Nice full-figure images measuring 4". Original Courvoisier mat with script writing is over the cels, with an opening size of 9" x 8". Small paint loss in hat, overall Very Good condition. Brilliant colors!
