Phantom Lady #17 (Fox, 1948) CGC FN 6.0 Pink pages. One of the most iconic and notorious pre-Code superhero comic books, thanks to Matt Baker's classic bondage cover, memorably cited in Seduction of the Innocent, as "a sadist's dream." Unsurprisingly, Baker is synonymous with eye-catching "good girl" art, and his most notable covers such as this one regularly sell for multiples of their price guide values.
