Edmund (Emsh) Emshwiller The Variable Man and other stories Preliminary Cover Original Art (Ace, 1957). Preliminary cover painting by Emsh for the Philip K. Dick novel, published in 1957 in paperback by Ace. A rare treat for any fan of sci-fi, as cover art for first editions by Dick are scarce. Created in gouache on illustration board, with an image area of 4.25" x 6.5". There is light toning to board. Art is in Excellent condition.More information about Emsh.
