Description

Hawaii McDonaldland Mural Drawing Original Art by Wes Cook (McDonald's/Setmakers, 1979). Mayor McCheese, Hamburglar, and the Gobblins sway to a hula dance amongst a castle setting in this hand-drawn mural designed for the wall of a McDonald's restaurant in Hawaii. These custom murals were created to reflect regional imagery and cultural elements. This one was created by Setmakers Creative Director and legendary theme park artist Wes Cook to serve as the background for a tabletop Grimace statue. The artwork measures 8.25" x 28.5" on 20" x 36" vellum. It is dated January 2, 1979 and signed by the artist, Wes Cook. A Setmakers sticker is applied to the lower right corner. The paper shows minor handling wear; otherwise, condition is Fine.
