Donald Duck with Huey, Dewey, and Louie Rough Drawing (Walt Disney, 1978). Donald tries to hitch a ride with Huey, Dewey, and Louie after a glorious crash in this rough cover drawing for Walt Disney Comics and Stories issue 450. This rough drawing, sketched in graphite and orange color pencil, played an essential part in the creative process of production nailing out the final composition of the cover layout. The blocked-out space for the cover is roughly 9.75" x 15". A fun find for Donald Duck fans! The aged onion-skin paper it was drawn on has notable handling wear with a center horizontal crease, torn bottom left corner, pinholes, roughly torn top edge likely from tearing it out of a pad of sheets.
