Description
Lady and the Tramp Lady Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1955). "What is a baby, anyway?" Lady takes soft and hesitant steps up the stairs to the nursery in this endearing original animation drawing. As seen about the 28:55 timestamp, confused about all the fuss in the family Lady goes to investigate. Lady was animated by a few of Disney's "Nine Old Men", including Ollie Johnston, Frank Thomas, and Milt Kahl, and was inspired by storyman Joe Grant's own Springer Spaniel named Lady. This page was trimmed on the sides leaving it approximately 14.5" x 12.5" in size, with Lady centered nicely at 5" x 2.5" on the page. Notably this image was part of a camera panning shot with its uncentered peg holes. It is noted as drawing 213 on the bottom right corner. With light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear. This lovely piece of animation history is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
