Dick Ayers and Gerry Talaoc Unknown Soldier #234 Near Complete Story Original Art Group of 11 (DC, 1979). The Immortal GI is back on the hunt, tracking his slippery nemesis Von Stauffen from the shadows of a European embassy to the heart of a hostile jungle in the pulse-pounding tale "Jungle Showdown!" Offered here are 11 of the 12 original pages, with only the first page missing. Ink over graphite on DC Bristol boards with image areas of 10" x 15". Light toning, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, discolored tape and tape residue on top edges, production-trimmed edges, smudging, stripped-in text corrections held by tape on the back, stat text correction and "Continued... " paste-ups, whiteout corrections, and minor handling wear. Overall, in Very Good condition.
