Stan Freberg High School Scrapbook (c. 1940s). You might call this grouping Stan Freberg -- the Beginning! It may be the most important and interesting lot in this collection. This is the young Freberg's high school scrapbook. It chronicles his debate team triumphs, his newspaper clippings, a letter from the school's vice principal to his parents praising their son, even his high school commencement program. Contest-winning ribbons, photos - over 60 pages centered on an extraordinary student called Stanley V. Freberg. One look at this scrapbook, and there is no doubt where this young man's career is headed! In the inside cover is his hand-typed resume at age 22.
