Don Simpson - Megaton Man/Spirit/Steve Canyon House Ad Illustration Original Art (Kitchen Sink Press, 1984). "So Much For A House Style!" Megaton Man joins the KSP stable of characters. And some of them want to speak to Denis Kitchen about it! Simpson did a nice job of aping Eisner and Caniff's art style while still doing a caricature of their major characters. This ad was used as the back cover for Megaton Man #1, and also in some industry magazine ads. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board. Signed in the lower right of the 9.5" x 10.5" image area. In Excellent condition. Comes with a tearsheet of the back cover ad.From the Denis Kitchen Collection.
