Description

Dave Sim Cerebus #20 Story Page 10 Original Art (Aardvark-Vanaheim, 1980). This page is from one of the most clever Cerebus stories that Dave Sim has ever written. And that's saying a lot, considering this is the man that gave us the Moon Roach parody, the baby-throwing gag, an unexpected Groucho Marx supporting character, and many, many other clever things. The story "Mind Game" is just that, in more ways than one! In the story, Cerebus finds himself drifting in a sort of astral-projection phantom zone. While there, he engenders a fight between two wizards without either knowing what's going on. The biggest surprise is actually for the READER. If you pull out the staples and disassemble your comic book (you will need two for this) you can connect all the pages to form a giant Cerebus poster! This page was created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Signed by Sim in the top margin. Toned and in Very Good condition
