Frederick Burr Opper Happy Hooligan Sunday Comic Strip Original Art (c. 1900-1932). A Merry Christmas Dream! Uncle Happy plays Santa Claus and then takes the nephews to the Circus. The dream-sequence panel has a familiar guest-star in it... Maud the Mule! (Star of her own strip Her Name is Maud.) The feature was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20.5" x 21". It is partially hand-colored with watercolor as a color guide for the printer. Toned, with some minor edge rips and corner creases. In Good condition.Auction Info
