Description

Herb Trimpe, Joe Staton, and John Romita Sr. The Incredible Hulk #193 Story Page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1975). The Hulk battles Doc Samson at the top of the Twin Towers, with the Green Goliath punching the Gamma-powered PhD off the skyscraper. An action-packed sequence assisted by John Romita Sr. in the middle POW! panel, as evidenced by the blue pencilwork, which was discussed on the Letters Page in Issue #197. This is also from the issue that ended Trimpe's seven-year run on the title. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, tape residue staining on the top and bottom edges, Panel 5 is stripped-in and losing adherence to the back, marginal notes and editorial marks, taped paste-ups in the bottom margin, with light staining and handling wear. Signed by the creative team of Trimpe, Staton, and writer Len Wein in the top margin. In Very Good condition.
