Description
Herb Trimpe, Joe Staton, and John Romita Sr. The Incredible Hulk #193 Story Page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1975). The Hulk battles Doc Samson at the top of the Twin Towers, with the Green Goliath punching the Gamma-powered PhD off the skyscraper. An action-packed sequence assisted by John Romita Sr. in the middle POW! panel, as evidenced by the blue pencilwork, which was discussed on the Letters Page in Issue #197. This is also from the issue that ended Trimpe's seven-year run on the title. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, tape residue staining on the top and bottom edges, Panel 5 is stripped-in and losing adherence to the back, marginal notes and editorial marks, taped paste-ups in the bottom margin, with light staining and handling wear.
