Description

Alex Toth Hot Wheels #5 Story Page 6 Original Art (DC, 1970). Mike Wheeler snaps up a rare 1937 Cord 812 from a farmer whose wife is thrilled to see it go, then gives his son a rolling history lesson as they tow the head-turning classic home. Toth captures the whole moment with breezy confidence, his impeccable layouts and elegant economy of line turning a simple human-interest tale into a masterclass in motion and rhythm. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, slightly discolored tape over "Continued..." paste-up, blue pencil editorial marks, small piece missing in top left corner, whiteout corrections, minor ink smudging, marginal adhesive residue, and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.
