Description
Joe Orlando National Lampoon #47 "First Lay" Cover Original Art (National Lampoon, 1974). This is the cover to the faux-comic First Lay! A hilarious iconic cover of the freshman about to lose his virginity. The comic book parody ran in the Strange Sex issue of the satirical magazine National Lampoon during its Golden Age, and a copy of the published issue is included. The art is created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is a crease running across the lower portion of the board, marginal tape/adhesive residue, light toning and soiling, and small pinholes. Created in ink, blue pencil, and whiteout marks.
