Description
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Rancor Monster Limited Edition Bronze Statue #6/50 (Dark Horse/Bowen, 1998). A limited edition bronze statue of the menacing Rancor Monster created by, and coming from the private collection of Randy Bowen. The creature stands an imposing 11.5" tall, 10" wide, and weighs over 30 lbs. on its fine black marble base, which is twice signed by Bowen. With long, out-of-proportion arms, huge fangs, and long sharp claws, the Rancor is a fearsome sight to all except the last Jedi. Bowen calculated the creature scale by placing one of the pig-like Gamorrean guards in the Rancor's mighty grip. Etched on a rock along the back of the sculpted ground, the figure reads "#6/50 from the limited edition production run" (the edition was originally set at 50 units, but only 30 were actually produced).
