Jim Steranko Strange Tales #160 Story Page 12 Nick Fury Original Art (Marvel, 1967). Jim Steranko's run on Nick Fury helped bring the Howling Commando into the Swinging Sixties Spy-Craze. Gorgeous art, stylish locations, and dynamic layouts made for exciting reading. On this last page of the story "Project: Blackout", Nick Fury does a base-jump off the Statue of Liberty without a chute! Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". The Statue of Liberty's torch arm is composed of two printed stats with graphite and ink touch-ups.
