Joe Orlando Shock SuspenStories #3 Complete 6-Page Story "The Big Stand-Up!" Original Art (EC, 1952). Possibly Joe Orlando's best ever EC story! Stunning art, just chock-full of shots of that hot alien babe, Lara! But as TV Technician Bart Thompson finds out... she is a whole lot of woman! The pages are rendered (fittingly) at twice-up scale in ink and Zipatone over graphite on EC Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". The lightly toned boards have some pinholes in the margins. The header text on Page 1 is a stat paste-up. One of the big bonuses with this group are the three pages that have graphite work on the reverse sides. One of them seems to be a caricature of story writer Bill Gaines, with artist Joe Orlando, and a third fellow who might be co-writer Al Feldstein. In Excellent condition.
