Description
Steve Ditko and Vince Colletta Tales to Astonish #66 Hulk Story Page 9 Original Art (Marvel, 1965). The Hulk appears in each one of the five panels of this dynamic Ditko page which shows the Green Goliath doing what he does best... smashing! The last panel was so smashingly good, it was used for a 1977 Marvel Campus Craft poster published by Thought Factory. The page is from the story "The Power of Doctor Banner!", rendered at twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". Panel 4 has a stripped-in art paste-up which has been re-adhered in the wrong position and held by a board paste-up taped on the back. Slight toning, abrasions on the edges, notes in the right side margin, whiteout touch-ups, with light staining and edge/handling wear. In Very Good condition.More information about Steve Ditko.
