Description
Travis Charest - Vampirella Illustration Original Art (c. 2005). Beautiful rendition of Vampirella by renown comic artist Travis Charest. Getting his start at DC working on the Flash and Darkstars, his style was heavily influenced by Jim Lee. Once Image was formed and Lee started WildStorm Productions, Charest was offered work with the studio, which led to him landing regular work on Wildcats. During this time, his artwork noticeably evolved and became a more unique style, focusing on realistic use of various media. He would move on to doing a wide range of artwork, including covers and his own webcomic strip Spacegirl. To this day, his art is in high demand! This Vampirella piece was featured in one of his many published sketchbooks. Rendered in mixed media on illustration board with an image area of 11.5" x 16.75". The board has tape along the edges with slight handling wear. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
