Description

Alden Getz Betty Boop Daily Comic Strip Preliminary Original Art Group (c. 1930s). A group of eleven Betty Boop preliminary dailies concerning an air race storyline, presumably done as either story roughs for regular strip artist Bud Counihan, or as a pre-Counihan try-out. Drawn by Fleischer Studio artist Alden Getz. All were done in graphite on two pieces of conjoined paper; one strip has separated into two pieces. Overall Good condition.
