Description
Joe Quesada Wolverine: The Origin #4 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2002). Fans had gotten the long-awaited story of how Wolverine got his Adamantium skeleton and claws about ten years prior to the release of Origin, which detailed the early days of James Howlett, the man known as Logan who would become Wolverine. The six-issue series was drawn by Andy Kubert with eye-catching covers by Joe Quesada. Heritage is offering five of the six covers in this sale, including this intense image from issue #4, featuring the shadowed face of a wolf, focused on the glowing eyes of the beast. Not only does Logan encounter a pack of wolves at the end of the story, but he finds a kinship with the animals, embracing his true nature. Graphite on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". Light smudging. Signed by Quesada in the lower right image area, and in Excellent condition.From the John Dolmayan Home Remodeling Fund Collection.
