Flash Comics #1 (DC, 1940) CGC Apparent NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. What an origin issue! It includes the first appearances of the Flash, Hawkman, Johnny Thunder, Whip, and Shiera Sanders, with Sheldon Moldoff turning in the introductory cover and interior art for the issue that's currently listed on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics. This is the sole highest-certified restored copy of the issue. We recently (in September of this year) sold an unrestored CGC-certified VF+ 8.5 copy of this comic for an astonishing $396,000! So, grabbing this super-high-grade restored copy sure seems like a really great idea. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: color touch, pieces added, tear seals, reinforced, re-glossed."
