Description
Sal Buscema and Bill Sienkiewicz The Spectacular Spider-Man #228 Double Splash Page 21-22 Original Art (Marvel, 1995). A breathtaking double page splash featuring the New Warriors confronting an out-of-control Spider-Man who has been programmed to kill his pregnant wife, Mary Jane. A dynamic scene by Buscema with finishes by Sienkiewicz, whose gritty inking style makes this cliffhanger even more dynamic. Ink and white paint over graphite on two conjoined Marvel Bristol boards with a combined image area of 22" x 16". Slight toning, held by tape on the back, discolored text paste-ups, tape on the bottom edge, with light handling wear.
