Description

John Buscema and Joe Sinnott Fantastic Four #123 Splash Page 1 Galactus Original Art (Marvel, 1972). A powerful opening title splash from inside of Galactus' ship! Mr. Fantastic threatens to destroy the Devourer's home as Galactus appears shocked at the leader of the Fantastic Four's actions. The Thing and Silver Surfer stand by the Titan's feet in this dramatic scene which could become even more meaningful with the rumors of Galactus being tapped as the villain of the upcoming MCU Fantastic Four feature. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, tape indicia paste-up, tape residue staining on the top/bottom edges, staple holes in the top left corner, blue pencil editorial notes/marks and whiteout corrections, light abrasion on the central word balloon, with oil staining and light creasing/handling wear. In Very Good condition.
