Pep Comics #32 (MLJ, 1942) CGC VG- 3.5 Cream to off-white pages. Early Archie appearance. The Shield gets a new costume on this Bob Montana Nazi/bondage/torture cover. The infamous female-decapitated-head-on-a-spike splash page from this book was used as the cover of Roly Poly Comics #14. Irv Novick and Paul Reinman art. CGC notes, "Removed From a Bound Volume. 3 extra staples added after manufacturing. Tape on cover." Overstreet 2017 VG 4.0 value = $600. CGC census 5/18: 2 in 3.5, 10 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
