Description
Showcase #22 Green Lantern (DC, 1959) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Off-white pages. After reviving the Flash in this same title three years prior, DC was ready to update another Golden Age superhero. The sleek, capeless Green Lantern took the comic world by storm in 1959, and this was the issue that had his origin and first appearance. Abin Sur and Carol Ferris also made their first appearances. Gil Kane provided stellar artwork on both the cover and interior art. Overstreet 2009 VG 4.0 value = $770; FN 6.0 value = $1,155. CGC census 1/10: 16 in 5.0, 50 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
